The event was hosted by Tracey Mcleod-Stecy and her family as a fundraiser to support an undergraduate summer student in T1D research in Dr. Thompson's lab for summer 2025. Dr. Thompson briefly shared about the focus of his lab and research efforts in T1D more generally. The food was amazing and the kids had a blast!

We had a fantastic time together and $2600.00 was raised to support student research in T1D in the lab! Many thanks to Tracey and her family for all their efforts and support of bringing new students into the field of T1D research in the lab! And the science cookies were delicious!
